Enjoy a fun packed-time from Paracas to the Huacachina oasis in the Americas where adrenaline along sand dunes and delicious food in the middle of desert are part of this unique experience. You’ll board a 4×4 buggy ride through the highest sand dunes of the Huacachina oasis and practice sandboarding accompanied by a professional driver who will take you along different dune spots and to watch the most beautiful sunsets at southern Peruvian coast.

After the adventure along sand dunes, we will have a magical dinner under the stars in the Huacachina desert. You will arrive at a space decorated with a tent, lights, and a campfire for a three-course dinner, with gourmet options such as beef steak or chicken breast and a traditional dessert. This tour is exclusively set in private service and designed to respect nature, ensuring an intimate and unique experience.

Itinerary

3:00 pm: Pick-up from the selected hotel in Paracas and transfer to Huacachina.
4:30 pm: Arrival at Huacachina oasis and guided visit around its beautiful lagoon surrounded by high dunes. Free time to stroll around.
5:00 pm: Meet with an off-road professional driver who will take you to the buggy parking area (Desierto Peru Travel) to get on board your private 4×4 buggy and start the ride along Huacachina dunes, including amateur sandboarding practice and sunset views.
6:20 pm: Transfer to a specially decorated area in the desert for a private dinner among the Huacachina dunes.
8:20 pm: Return to the meeting point in Huacachina and drive back to Paracas.
9:30 pm: Drop-off atthe selected hotel in Paracas.

Dessert: Chocoteja (traditional sweet from the city of Ica).
Beverage: Pasteurized water and sugar-free Coca-Cola.
Wine: 01 bottle of red or white wine upon request at time of reservation.

Important Information

Distance from Paracas to Huacachina is 70 km (42 miles).
This tour is offered exclusively in private service.
Participants must walk approximately 10 minutes from the Huacachina dune entrance to the buggy parking area. From there, the ride along the dunes, amateur sandboarding practice and sunset viewing will begin.
Sunscreen, sunglasses, light clothing, sneakers or tennis shoes (no flip-flops), mosquito repellent and a windbreaker are required for the tour.
The average temperature in Ica is 32°C (90°F). During fall–winter season, it can become cold and windy over the Huacachina dunes, so bringing a windbreaker is highly recommended.
A minimum of 4 participants is required to book this service. If fewer guests participate, the quotation will be based on the minimum required number.
Children from 0 to 3 years old are not allowed, as all passengers must use their own seatbelts during the buggy ride.
Pregnant guests are not allowed to participate in adrenaline activities. A prior quotation is required for alternative private transportation without the adrenaline circuit.
If a guest has a physical disability that prevents walking to the buggy parking area (located 10 minutes from the dune entrance), please inform us in advance to arrange an alternative private transfer without the adrenaline circuit.
Food restrictions must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available.
Smoking or lighting any type of fire inside the bell tent is strictly prohibited.
The total duration of this private experience is approximately from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
