Enjoy an off-road adventure at Huacachina “Oasis of America onboard a 4×4 buggy ride through the highest sand dunes and get a unique experience of picnic in the middle of Huacachina desert.

This famous lagoon is said to be home to a beautiful mermaid that protects this magical spot, according to local legends, which explains its origin.

In the picnic area, you will find a bell tent, carpets, flower decorations, decorative lamps, large cushions, and chairs.
Food: seasonal fruit, sweet pastries, Gouda cheese, pasteurized elemental cheese, stuffed olives, ham, chifles (fried banana), mixed nuts, oregano cookies, chocotejas (candy filled with pecan, caramel, and dipped in chocolate).

Drinks: pasteurized mineral water, sparkling demi-sec, sugar-free soda. For passengers who do not drink alcohol,l we have juice.

Itinerary

2:30 pm: Pick up from the hotel in Paracas towards Huacachina.
4:00 pm: Arrival at Huacachina and get a guided visit to the oasis and its surroundings in this beautiful spot.
4:30 pm: Meet your driver who will take you to base camp (Desierto Peru travel) and get startedon your buggy ride tour + sandboarding practice.
5:30 pm: We will head to an equipped and decorated area for a picnic in the middle of the desert while looking at the sunset across the dunes of Huacachina.
6:20 pm: Return to Huacachina meeting point and drive back to Paracas.
8:00 pm: Drop off at the selected hotel in Paracas.

Sunblock, sunglasses and windbreaker necessary on tour (it gets cold when sun begins to set).
