Paracas reserve is a protected natural area known for its wealth of marine life and its spectacular coast of rock formations sculpted by wind and waves. Paracas reserve has incredible beaches where tourists are amazed to observe the union of peruvian coastal desert with the sea, incredible landscapes and rich history of our ancestors.
Itinerary
- 11:00am: Brief briefing explained to the participants of the E-bike circuit and departure from the hotel in Paracas to the touristic points in the Paracas National Reserve.
- 11:20am: Visit to the turritelas fossil area to explore its formation and history dating back to the Eocene epoch (60 mill B.C.) where the sea covered the Peruvian coast.
- 12:00pm: Arrival to the viewpoints (La Catedral and Supay beach) where we will have incredible views of the rock formations and beautiful beaches.
- 12:30pm: Arrival and panoramic view of the Paracas Peninsula, a perfect place to observe the union of the desert with the Peruvian sea.
- 13:00hrs: Visit to the red beach, a place formed by the erosion of the wind and waves. The red color is due to the volcanic presence of pink granodiorite material.
- 13:30hrs: Arrival at the selected hotel in Paracas.
