Venture on this fun-packed half day tour riding on exotic camels/dromedaries in the heart of the Ica desert, just 30 minutes away from Paracas. This tour offers the complete camel-riding experience with traditional arab attire (turban, moroccan-style tunic) where you can take plenty of photos while riding with family or friends.

In addition to the dromedary ride, you will have free time to explore surrounding area like mini-zoo and optional activities including ATV rides and water-games in Dromedarius pool specially designed for children, ensuring that every member of the family has an extraordinary experience in a welcoming and fun-filled atmosphere that invites you to create unforgettable moments.

Itinerary

Pick-up from selected hotel in Paracas to Dromedarius.
Arrival at Dromedarius with a briefing and recommendations before starting the camelid/dromedary ride activity.
Dromedary ride activity led by a guide/assistant from Dromedarius staff along the sand dunes (approximately 6 minutes).
Free time after the ride (45 minutes) to stroll around, visit the mini-zoo, use the open swimming pool, or book an optional ATV ride.
Return to Paracas and drop-off at selected hotel.

Important Information

Distance from Paracas to Dromedarius Ica is 40 km / 25 miles.
Duration of the camelid/dromedary ride is approximately 6 minutes.
Sunblock, sunglasses, mosquito repellent, and light clothing are necessary for the half-day Dromedarius Ica tour (participants may bring a swimsuit to use the swimming pool during the 45 minutes of free time).
Camelid/dromedary ride is individual or 1 adult + 1 child per dromedary, with a maximum weight limit of 120 kg / 265 lbs.
Pregnant women and participants over 55 years old cannot participate in the camelid/dromedary ride activity.
Dromedarius operates from Wednesday to Sunday (closed on Monday and Tuesday for maintenance).
