Immerse yourself in an exclusive guided tour of the best wines and piscos in Ica and get an off-road experience of the best adrenaline on a private ride polaris 4×4 through the highest sand dunes while observing the most beautiful sunset in this unique spot at southern Peru.

First, we will visit the Tacama vineyard, “The oldest operating winery in South America” that produces the best wines and piscos at south of our country with extraordinary cutting-edge technology.

And then we will visit Cultur, “artisanal winery with a deep tradition of making pisco and wines”; an interesting place with several wine tasting options, piscos and creams made from grapes and other local fruits.

In the afternoon you will enjoy an exciting ride in the oasis of America “La Huacachina” where we will embark on a trip along the enormous dunes onboard a polaris 4×4 vehicle driven by professionals and practice sandboarding, you will also be able to take incredible photos of the sunset in Huacachina, definitely a magical place for adventure seekers who are looking for unique experiences.

Itinerary

10:30 am: Pick up from lobby of Paracas hotel towards Ica
12:00 pm: Arrival to the hacienda “Tacama, the oldest vineyard in South America” (1540) offers us a great variety of piscos and wines with high quality, we will also visit the artisanal and modern facilities where the local guide will provide us with more information about the variety of grapes and passion for innovation and constant development (duration of the guided visit and tasting 1 hour 15 min)
Free time for lunch
3:00 pm: Guided visit to the next vineyard “Cultur”, an artisanal winery with a deep tradition of making local wines and piscos from local grapes and today they continue using extraordinary techniques which has been passed down through generations and also are reflected on its products such as piscos, wines, mistelas, etc. (duration of the guided visit and tasting 45 min)
4:30 pm: Arrival to Huacachina oasis and get a guided visit around its beautiful lagoon where lots of local people tell legends regarding to its creation. This unique spot is highly visited all year around.
5:00 pm: Get started your ride on 4×4 polaris through the highest sand dunes at Huacachina and watching the best sunset you have ever seen before. You can also practice amateur sandboarding accompanied by your off-road driver.
6:20 pm: Return to meeting point at Huacachina and drive back to Paracas
7:30 pm: Drop off at selected hotel in Paracas.

Important Information

Distance from Paracas to Ica 70 kms (42 miles).
Participants must be up to 18 years old to get wine & pisco tasting.
Tour package duration is approximately 9 hours.
Sunscreen, light clothing and repellent are necessary on tour.
Average temperature in Ica 28 degrees (78 F).
Tacama winery is closed on Mondays for maintenance.
Polaris ride & sandboarding lasts 1 hour.
Children up to 5 years old can participate on 4×4 Polaris ride (minors of the mentioned age could participate in the tour with prior authorization from their parents).
