One of the most visited tourist attractions in southern Peru is undoubtedly the Ballestas Islands, located 12 miles off shore from local dock El Chaco.

On this boat ride through El chaco you can embark and to see the enigmatic geoglyph “Candelabra” engraved into paracas peninsula, sculpted rock formations, views of thousand birds and colonies of sea lions on sea shores.

Ballestas islands is a rich archipelago riddled with arches, tunnels and other wind and sea sculptures were formed through millions years ago. On this boat trip you will circle around the islands for around two-hours to visit the diverse marine life (disembarking is not allowed to protect the wildlife), and also you will get the best spot for seeing the Candelabro, a prehistoric candelabra-shaped geoglyph etched onto a sloping hill above the cliffside.

07:40 am: Pick up from selected hotel in Paracas
08:00 am: Pre-boarding assistance at El Chaco dock.
08:20 am: Start of ballestas islands tour.
10:20 am: Return and drop off at selected hotel at Paracas.
