Come to this fascinating tour at the Caravedo distillery, where piscos are one of the most awarded peruvian spiritual liquors. Guided by an expert to learn about the whole process, visiting artisanal facilities of more than 300 years of history and excellent equipment to produce the best quality liquors and required standards.
Later we will visit Tacama, “The oldest functioning winery hacienda in South America” to get to know the wine routes and the incomparable colorful landscapes, the sunny climate of the Ica region. In addition to tasting the wine varieties of the wineries, you will be able to access guides specialized in oenology to learn about the properties, techniques, irrigation, pruning and harvesting systems of the world of wine.
Itinerary
- 09:00 am: Pick up at Paracas hotel towards Ica.
- 10:00 am: Visit of the oldest hacienda distillery in South America, “Caravedo,” where they own artisanal facilities of more than 300 years of history and modern equipment to produce the best quality of pisco with high standards.
- 12:00 pm: We visit later Hacienda Tacama, the oldest hacienda winery in South America (1540), offering a wide variety of high-end quality piscos and wines. We also visit the artisanal cellar and modern facilities, where the local guide will give us more information about innovation and constant development.
- Free time for lunch and prior return to the hotel.
