We will visit 3 exclusive wineries: Tacama, “The oldest functioning winery hacienda in South America” Catador and Nietto, artisan wineries with a deep tradition of making piscos and wines, an interesting place with several tasting options for wines, piscos and creams made from grapes and other local fruits.
Your adventure will begin through wine routes and the incomparable colorful landscapes and sunny weather of Ica region. In addition to tasting the wine varieties of the wineries, you will be able to access guides specialized in oenology to learn about the properties, techniques, irrigation, pruning and harvesting systems of the world of wine. As well as, the art of making pisco creams and different liquors.
Peruvian pisco continues to conquering palates thanks to local technique which has been passed down through generation.
Itinerary
- 10:30 am: Pick up from the hotel in Paracas
- 11:30 am: Visit of Tacama, the oldest vineyard in South America (1540) offers a wide variety of high-end quality piscos and wines. We also visit the artisanal and modern facilities, where la ocal guide will give us more information about the variety of grapes, passion for innovation, and constant development
- 1:00 pm: El catador Visit of this artisanal winery, a historical family legacy which has been passed down through generations. Born in 1856 and to this day continues to preserve its tradition, reflected on its products made with the best quality standards in piscos and wines liquors.
- 1:40 pm: Bodega Nietto On this option of artisanal winery you can also taste beautiful food without walking too far. As well as tasting different wines, cachinas and local sweet desserts that are recognized at countryside
- 3:30 pm: Return to Paracas.
- 4:30 pm: Arrival at the selected hotel.
